June 20–21 | Harper River / Avoca Track

Celebrate the Māori New Year with an epic girls-driven getaway into the mountains!
Whether you're in for a day of adventure or keen to camp overnight under the stars, this trip has something for every 4x4 woman out there.

What’s happening?
We’re heading into the stunning Harper River area, tackling the scenic Avoca Track and finishing up at Basin's Hut or Old Basin's Hut. You’ll experience everything from rivers and valleys to good yarns and maybe even a shared hot cuppa at the hut.

Overnight Option:
Two huts are available — the newer Basin's Hut and the more rugged Old Basin's Hut. Stay the night with the crew or just cruise in for the day and make your way home in the same day — your adventure, your call.
There is plenty of room to camp or park with the rooftop tent if that is your jam as well!

Meeting Point: Harper Road Campsite (we’ll convoy in from there)

Rig Requirements:
This trip includes river crossings and some rocky sections, so please make sure your vehicle is up for the challenge. You'll need:
• Rated recovery points
• Snorkel
• UHF radio
• All-terrain or mud tyres
(Note: large boulders may be present on this route)
• General 4WD capability for river crossings and off-road conditions

Staying the Night?
If you're camping overnight:

• Warm sleeping gear and layered clothing are essential – it gets very cold nestled in the mountain valley
• The huts are first-come, first-served – there's no booking system
➤ Be prepared to tent camp if the huts are full

Who’s this for?
All women who love 4WDs, nature, connection, and good vibes — whether you're seasoned or just getting into it.

NZ North - Juliette’s Memorial Tūkino Snow Run

❄️ NZ North – Juliette’s Memorial Tūkino Snow Run ❄️

It’s nearly been a year since we lost our beautiful Juliette. To honour her memory and celebrate the incredible woman she was, we’ll head to one of her favourite places — the majestic Tūkino track.

🗓 Event Details

📍 Meeting Point: Tukino Lower Car Park (just off SH1)
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – we’ll wait around 15 minutes before heading up. Please let us know in advance if you’re running late.

From the car park, we’ll make our way up to the lodges. If the upper car park is full, we’ll turn around earlier. There’ll be plenty of time to stop, play in the snow, and enjoy lunch together in the alpine beauty Juliette loved so much.

After heading back down, we plan to camp at Waipakihi — crossing the river to reach the larger sites if conditions allow. If not, an alternative camp at Pokaka Mill (about an hour’s drive from Tukino) is available.

That evening at camp, we’ll share stories, reflect, and remember Juliette — her laughter, kindness, and the impact she had on us all. 💓

🚙 Rig & Gear Requirements

  • Snorkel – Preferred but not essential (camp location may change if needed)

  • Recovery gear & UHF recommended

  • Camping gear

  • Sleeping bag rated to -4°C or lower

  • Blankets, warm clothes, beanies, gloves

  • Food and water – enough for the trip

  • Be prepared for cold conditions – there may be snow and rocky sections on the track

🫶 Who Can Join?

Anyone and everyone who loved Juliette or wants to honour her memory is welcome. Bring your family, your friends, and your heart.

South Island - Nevis & Macetown

Last year the weather cancelled this event for us.... so this year, its personal!

This long April Easter weekend, join the COR4x4 as we take on the mighty Nevis for a 2 night adventure!
A track sure to not disappoint, this will take us through breath-taking scenery and old mining towns as we make our way through the remote Otago region.

Everyone will meet at the Kingston Fire Station (on the road outside) at midday for the de-brief and rundown of the adventure for the day.
From there we will convoy as a group into the Nevis to find our camping spot for the night.

This track is known for changing season to season, and is prone to flooding as we head into the rainier seasons.
This is a great chance for those looking for a challenge and to upskill, with all the ladies on hand to provide support and expertise when needed.
We recommend having confidence in both your rig and yourself when taking on this challenge!
If you have questions about this track, please reach out!

This is a 2 night event, heading into colder months of the year, so please come prepared for this;
• Sleeping gear (warmth is key!!)
• Sunscreen & Bug Spray

Otago - Cluden Hill

Cluden Hill Trip
10am Saturday 22nd March, meeting at the Tarras Store ready for an 10:30 am departure

Just a fun day trip to meet everyone!

this is a Grade 2 trip. There are some mud bogs

Here's the plan: After leaving Tarras Store we travel along the main highway to the top of Cluden Hill where we will turn right down into farmland and follow along the dirt track crossing the Lindis river or over the bridge and then a steady climb to the top of the hill where the views are spectacular. Then after a drive along the top we start our decline into Lauder Station. Lunch will be at a hut along the way.
The trip will be about 6 hours with a long climb near the start that will have small creek crossings and bushes close to track so expect some sort of pin striping. The track is rutted and can be boggy if there has been recent rainfall.
There will be rock climbing and some articulation, also bushes that are close to the track and at some stages the track can be narrow.
The trip should finish in Lauder around 4pm.

Gear: Bring your own lunch
Spark arrestors are compulsory for this trip and must be fitted onto trucks. You'll also need your standard recovery gear such as shackles, snap straps, tow hooks etc. Bring warm clothing in case it is chilly at the top of the hill.
This will be postponed if there is heavy rainfall
Feel free to bring your partners/friends
No dogs unfortunately on this trip.
